Engagement
Such a sweet couple! It was so cold in Bodega, Juliana did not want to get wet, but even when she did get wet, she had the best response (See the image below-I don't think you will miss it)! They have a beautiful family together and I cannot wait to capture their special moment in time!
Oh my goodness, I cannot say enough amazing things about Alissa and Kenny! Alissa's aunt owns this awesome venue where we shot their session and I was also able to bring along a teenager I am mentoring in Photography. Alissa and Kenny were so sweet and my "assistant" did an amazing job with lighting and I was able to teach her along the way. This couple's wedding is going to be off-the-hook fun and romantic and I just cannot wait!
Our session was set at the location of Heidi and Jeff's third date and it held great meaning for them. The sweet couple also reserved a table for lunch as a sweet reminder of the time when they both realized that they were made for each other. I almost felt like I was intruding. ;-) We had a blast and I cannot wait for their wedding!
I had so much fun with Brittany and Will on their engagement shoot! We went to two different locations and had some fun with sparklers and did a sunset shoot! It was a lot and they did so great with all of it! Such a sweet couple! I cannot wait to photograph their wedding in November!!

Jessica and Ian are just amazing together. A soft, quiet love. The beach was beautiful and the sunset was amazing. I am so excited for their September wedding!
Shooting in the same location on more than one occasion is great because you know the best spots, you know how to work with the light, and it gives you a sense of comfort. The challenge is to keep the creative juices flowing and create new moments with each couple. The beauty of what I do is that I get to work with different personalities and styles of people. Getting to know the couple at our consultation and on the engagement shoot allows me to be creative, bringing out the personalities of the couple. I love that part of what I do. I find engagement shoots also help with helping the couple be more comfortable with photography on their wedding day. They are more at ease, know how I work, how I pose them, etc. and it just adds to the enjoyment of the big day!
Hillary, Ross, and I went to a familiar location for me and we had such a great time utilizing the mustard fields that were in bloom. I am so excited for their July wedding! Such a fun, down-to-earth couple - we are going to have a blast!
Andriana and Ryan are so sweet together! And, Henny is such an adorable doggy!! They make up the cutest family! I cannot wait for their wedding!
What a fun afternoon with such a cute couple. It was so windy all day and right when we went to do our session, the wind died down, so it was meant to be. We picked a sweet little park setting to show of their down-to-earth personalities.
Mayra, Tyler, and I went to one of my favorite places to shoot. There is such a great combination of rustic country and wine country that there are endless options. We had so much fun covering every inch of the property and I cannot wait to photograph their wedding here, also! Blessie has the most amazing smile and her inner beauty shines through matching her outer beauty. Ted is sweet-hearted and knows he has found gold in Blessie and he is holding on, which is smart. ;-) They make such a great couple!
We had such an easy and fun time talking and getting to know each other, we almost missed the sunset! But, we didn't, of course and the beauty of the evening was breathtaking. Kayla and Kevin are such a fun-loving couple and their personalities shined during our session. From ease of cuddling to jumping off logs, they are definitely a pair who belongs together!
